ARTIST DEVELOPMENT
Building pathways for the next generation of artists in Australia
Artist development has been at the core of our mission since day one.
Through mentorship, touring opportunities, festival programming, and industry exposure, INBRAZA invests in emerging artists and creates pathways for culturally diverse creatives to build sustainable careers within Australia's music industry.
Recognising the lack of accessible opportunities for artists working outside mainstream music ecosystems, INBRAZA developed a series of initiatives designed to support talent at different stages of their journey — from first-time DJs to internationally touring artists.
DJ CALL-OUT
DJ CALL-OUT is our mentorship and talent development program, created to identify and support emerging DJs from across Australia.
Receiving more than 300 applications nationally,
the program focuses on cultural knowledge, personal branding, technical development, and industry readiness.
Selected participants receive mentorship, performance opportunities, and integration into INBRAZA's broader programming ecosystem.

"Through INBRAZA, I got my first show in Naarm, my first festival gig at Pitch, my first headline show, and now my first international gig. It was a real platform for me, especially as a queer DJ trying to find spaces to play within my community and actually feel seen.
Now I see myself as a core member of the collective who can uplift other DJs and give back" - MAZ FOR COMPLEX
MAKE HOMEGROWN MOVES
MAKE HOMEGROWN MOVES was created as a touring platform dedicated to showcasing local talent through headline performances and career-building opportunities.
The project provides artists with access to larger audiences, touring opportunities, professional content creation, and connections with industry partners.
By creating opportunities often reserved for established acts, the initiative helps emerging artists transition from local performers to nationally recognised talent.
